Alkemio for Education

Start of the School Year

How can I create a collaborative, real-world learning environment for my students? How can I ensure students don’t rely too heavily on tools like ChatGPT, and how do I maintain control over the answers they receive? How do I track their progress, especially when working with external stakeholders, ensuring meaningful cross-learning among all students?

With summer behind us, it is time to gear up for the start of the new school year. We are excited to continue working with both new and existing partners in the education sector. Together, we explore a new approach to education.

What will they do?

The collaboration with Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam provided many learning opportunities last year, and we are excited to build on that moving forward. This year, we will also support Digicampus in their project involving students from TU Delft, Haagse Hogeschool and MBO Rijnland. This project focuses on labor-saving technologies and solutions in the public sector. Students will work in groups on their research, participate in design sprints, and test their prototypes. Finally, we are launching new pilots in high schools to gain broader insights.

Each of these use cases brings a valuable perspective on how Alkemio can support education. We learn from their experiences and grow alongside them throughout this academic year. And of course, share these learnings with you!

Why Alkemio in Education?

Whether you are running a course with multiple phases or guiding students through projects, Alkemio has got you covered. The platform offers helpful templates, AI personas for guidance, and creative tools like whiteboards for students to use throughout their learning journey. The goal is to make education flexible, while still giving teachers full control over how things are structured. The platform ensures you keep the complete overview of the progress and all the input provided by the students. This allows teachers to save time and concentrate on creating the best learning experiences.

Safety is a key part of Alkemio. We designed the platform with privacy in mind—your data is protected, you control the visibility, and you decide who can join.

And it doesn’t stop there. Alkemio breaks down the usual classroom boundaries by making projects visible and accessible to the outside world. Businesses, NGOs, and other organizations can contribute, giving students real-world experience and insights. The platform isn’t just for completing assignments—it’s for building connections and making an impact, all while ensuring a safe environment for everyone involved.
